Hold Order

As gachapon toys and blind boxes are crafted in limited production, previous sets are frequently retired making way for new releases. Once a set is sold out, it may never be reproduced, making it increasingly scarce. Purchasing early guarantees you acquire the toys before they disappear.

To make collecting even easier, we offer free 90-day storage for purchases, allowing customers to reserve in-stock products and withhold shipping to combine multiple orders into one consolidated shipment. This service helps customers reach the minimum purchase amount to get free shipping within the US and helps reduce shipping costs overseas. Once a customer is ready to consolidate and ship, we calculate shipping costs and ship orders once they're paid.

Hold Order Process

To begin the Hold Order Process: 

  1. Place the order normally and select the Hold Order as the Shipping Method.
  2. Contact us to coordinate a Hold or Local Pick-up order with your order number.
  3. We'll set your orders aside until confirmation to ship or pick up is given.
  4. After confirmation, we'll send a final bill for shipping before sending the package.

Order -> Select "Hold Order" -> Coordinate  & Consolidate -> Pay & Ship

When you select Hold Order, you agree to the terms and conditions below:

After 90 days of free storage, a daily recurring storage fee of $1 USD will be added to the final payment until the shipment process is started. 

  • Multiple Hold Orders can be combined into one held into one single order.
  • The free 90-day storage is set from the date of the oldest order.
  • Capsule City Toys will send monthly reminders of all held orders.

After 100 days without any customer response, we will cancel the order with NO refunds. Communication is essential! We can work with customers with extenuating circumstances and waive storage fees with customers who stay in open communication.
